What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material handler position at FTI?

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Excellerate team as a Material Handler. This position is responsible for picking and processing orders within the warehouse.

The ideal candidate would be proficient in the use of a PC, Microsoft Office Suite, and Viewpoint and Access database.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience : 1 or more years of experience

Travel : None

Work Schedule : Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to : nights, weekends, and holidays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Picks and processes orders.
  • Operates material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts, telehandlers, hand trucks etc.).
  • Places materials at point of use in assembly and warehouse environment.
  • Communicates and coordinates with shop personnel for needed material.
  • Maintains compliance with company policies.
  • Maintains compliance with all OSHA and Company safety requirements.
  • Cleans and maintains work area.
  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • Attends company meetings as required by supervisor.
  • Assists in inventory counting and management activities.
  • Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
