What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at FTS Inc?
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Utilize integrated systems for computer-aided design to systematically represent and specify dimensions for mechanical and architectural structures.
- Preparing drawings or schematics for mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems, equipment, and structures.
- Review and analyze 2D and/ or 3D drawings
- Prepare schematics, layouts, and other visual aids as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Making engineering computations and preparing and revising specifications.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) required; high school diploma with relevant experience also considered.
- Experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor experience highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge
- Proven experience working as a CAD Drafter or similar role
