Job Posting for Gym Maintenance and Cleaning Associate at Fuel Fitness Tallahassee

  • Fuel Fitness Tallahassee is looking for a team member to help assist us with the cleaning and equipment maintenance within our facility. Tasks are basic and hours are flexible. Very easy and stress free. We have a simple daily and weekly checklist to follow.
  • Up to 10 to 20 HOURS PER WEEK.
  • Days and hours are flexible.
  • INCLUDES FREE GYM MEMBERSHIP.
  • Requirements:
  • Fluent in English, proficient reading and writing skills
  • Understand the basic use of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment
  • Ability to follow checklists and communicate effectively with the team.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of supplies and equipment inside the gym.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the immediate exterior of the club-windows and doors
  • Mop entire gym floor
  • Handle backpack sanitizer machine through-out entire gym
  • Dust lights, TVs, equipment, air vents, surfaces and walls as needed
  • Clean bathrooms, Wipe down shower, including lifting and scrubbing floor mats.
  • Cleaning Mirrors and Windows.
  • Wipe down cardio equipment.
  • Empty all trash cans to the dumpster.
  • Organize maintenance closet.
  • Advise manager and/or assistant manager of inventory levels of cleaning supplies
  • Refill all spray bottles around the gym with the proper amount of cleaning solution to water ratio.
  • Properly clocking in/out.
  • Communicate with lead maintenance employee and/or assistant manager on task(s) left uncompleted by end of shift.
  • Be efficient and complete daily checklists as well as handle immediate tasks that may arise.
  • Handle light facility maintenance tasks as needed. Training Provided.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
