Customer Service Representative/ Dispatch Position
We are in search of a dependable Customer Service Representative to serve as a communication hub for both emergency and non-emergency calls.
Your responsibilities will include receiving requests, relaying messages, facilitating secure payments, and monitoring fuel deliveries. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, maintain composure under pressure, and be adept at multitasking while taking appropriate actions with minimal supervision. We are looking for a team player who is proactive and ready to take the initiative.
The ultimate objective is to facilitate effective communication among various parties by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.
Responsibilities
- Take fuel orders via phone, chat, and online orders.
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information.
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
- Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries.
- Procure payment for deliveries.
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
- Update CRM and keep it organized
- Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, potential obstacles, and requirements.
- Enter data in the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.
- Be available for weekend/after hours on-call duties.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as customer service or relevant position
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (PC, Mac, Office Products, Outlook Email, Dispatch Ticket Systems)
- Fast typing with experience in data entry
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgement and critical thinking
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Eager and ambitious attitude with team environment focus
- High school diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.29 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
