FUEL Account Director
The Account Director is responsible for the relationship between the agency and the client. This role will be the primary lead on client accounts through regular, direct contact and the marshaling of agency resources. They must be knowledgeable in both the client’s and the agency’s business. The AD supervises performance with accounts and reviews all strategic and media decisions formulated by the various internal or external resources before they are delivered to the client. The AD reviews all creative concepts to confirm whether they meet strategic goals before they are delivered to the client for approval. This position reports to the VP | Account Strategist.
Expectations:
- Maintains direct, day-to-day client contact and ensures client expectations are exceeded
- Plays active role in development of marketing strategies that achieve client objectives
- Reviews and approves all deliverables and ensures they are strategically on point
- Ensures client review and approvals of all estimates, budgets, and work
- Oversees client budgets and reports
- Seeks opportunities for growth of accounts and strengthening of client relationships
- Ensures FUEL team is briefed on all projects and equipped with information needed to successfully complete work
- Leads account management duties for specified clients
- Monitors and remains informed of clients, industry, and market developments
Experience
- 10 years of marketing experience, preferably with five of those years in an agency setting
- Experience with technology or software industry/clients preferred
- Experience with clients who use HubSpot (not responsible for HubSpot implementation, but rather enough experience to help guide strategy)
