We're seeking a Digital Designer with solid UX/UI skills to join our Fujifilm Creative Studio team. You'll work closely with other members of the Fujifilm Creative Studio and Digital Marketing team to deliver high-quality digital assets across various channels for our diverse portfolio of businesses, all with the continued goal of elevating the Fujifilm brand. You'll have a clean and modern design sense, a firm grasp of typography, understanding of visual hierarchy, strong attention to detail, and a well-organized approach.

 

Positive collaboration and effective communication are critical to success in this role. You'll work regularly with project managers, design teams, PR, marketing, and subject matter experts to promote the products, services, and brand, while telling visual stories and sharing the many ways in which is working to bring a positive impact on the world around us.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Concept and produce digital assets such as web banners, email templates, social media graphics, digital signage, and other digital work as needed
  • Concept and propose UX/UI solutions in partnership with Web Dev team
  • Ensure consistency in design across all digital marketing channels
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all digital assets
  • Develop and implement user experience and user interface designs that are intuitive, visually appealing, and meet business objectives
  • Contribute to a positive and encouraging environment and receive constructive feedback with an open and enthusiastic approach
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications to effectively communicate design concepts
  • Collaborate with project manager and design team to ensure deliverables are on-time, on-budget, and on-brief
  • Use strong prioritization skills while working on several brands daily
  • Proactively bring new ideas and concepts to the table to enhance digital design projects
  • Work with Web Development team to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately

 

 

Required Skills & Education:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in Graphic Design
  • Portfolio with a variety of brand designs for which you can explain clear, thoughtful strategy on how you got to the end result
  • 4-6 years of experience in creating and producing digital assets such as web banners, email templates, social media graphics, digital signage, and other digital work as needed
  • Strong understanding of digital design and UI/UX principles
  • Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Experience with UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch
  • Coding (HTML/CSS) knowledge with the ability to cleanly and effectively code emails following industry best practices
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to create user-centered designs that are accessible, usable, and visually appealing
  • Experience conducting usability testing and analyzing user feedback
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Modern design aesthetic with a firm understanding of design principles
  • Strong ideation skills (research, development, evaluation, and application)
  • Excellent understanding of typography, type styling, and messaging hierarchy
  • Self-starter who is a collaborative and enthusiastic team player (no lone wolves allowed)
  • Superior organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar design software

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience creating digital assets for healthcare or technology-related industries
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing
  • Experience with 3D design
  • Basic print design experience

 

 

Salary & Benefits:The compensation for this role is $70,000 to $75,000 (annually), depending on experience.
