FDB is currently seeking a Head of Finance in our Morrisville, NC location. Reporting to the CFO US, the Head of Finance is responsible for directing all operational business and financial reporting, planning, information systems and capital expansion functions.

FDB is currently seeking a Head of Finance in our Morrisville, NC location. Reporting to the CFO US, the Head of Finance is responsible for directing all operational business and financial reporting, planning, information systems and capital expansion functions.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Site Leadership team and Management

• Member of the Site Leadership team (SLT). Support the needs of the SLT, providing data to enable decisions on projects, customers, etc. Manage the FDBU Finance department and staff within it.

Strategic Business Support: 

• Responsible for the development of costing models data used to price project proposals.
• Responsible for supporting creation of the Mid-term plan targets.
• Responsible for all local financing activities and support for corporate financing activities.
• Responsible implementation of the company’s formal mid-term and long range strategic planning process including coordination of planning efforts by senior managers leading to the establishment and prioritization of strategic objectives.
• Member of site Steering Groups as appropriate driving the local site forward
• Supports the COO as requested by preparing reports and analyses.

Financial Reporting: 

• Responsible for the development, implementation and management of all financial accounting and reporting systems. These systems are used to provide monthly financial statements and supplemental analytical reports for approximately twenty profit/cost centers. 
• Responsible for ensuring the appropriate financial controls are in place for the site
• Responsible for all corporate financial reporting activities.
• Responsible for the development, implementation and management of all cost accounting and reporting systems in a complex manufacturing environment. These systems are used to provide job costing, facility costing, billing utilization and pricing information for internal use by company management. 
• Responsible for cash management systems and procedures. Responsible for the consolidation of FDBT and FDBU into FDBU Consolidated Financial Statements.

Annual Budgeting and Audits: 

• Responsible for the development of annual operating and capital budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Responsible for oversight of all internal and external audit activities.
• Responsible for supporting long range financial planning models for presentation to senior management and parent company officials.

Capital Investments:

• Responsible for the management of capital. Prepares investment analyses to provide justification of large capital decisions.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Financial or Business with a CPA or M.B.A preferred and 10 years of experience in increasingly responsible financial roles.  Additionally a minimum of 5 years management experience in a financial or related field.  Also requires a demonstrated track record in the following key areas:
