Warehouse Clerk – 3-Month Contract to Permanent

** Position is three-month contract term. A Permanent position with benefits may be offered after successful working of the three-month contract term.**

Job Responsibilities

· Packages orders for shipment by processing ticket orders and requests, pulls materials, packs boxes

· Prepares special labeled orders; packages and re-labels product kits

· Data entry - enters shipping data for shipping labels

· Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests

· Loads and unloads shipping containers – inbound & outbound shipments

· Maintains quality service – works with customers & staff

· Maintains safe and clean work environment of shelves, pallet & shipping area and workstations; complying with procedures and regulations

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other related tasks as needed

Skills & Qualifications / Experience

· 1-year warehouse and inventory control experience preferred

· Prior forklift experience preferred, not required

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Position requires occasional lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

· Data entry and computer skills

· Safety knowledge and ability to work safely

· Hard working attitude, cares about the detail in their work

· Team player – works and communicates well in team environment

· Successful completion of a working interview – working interview is paid

Compensation & Benefits

· Term: Contract position is three-month contract term. A Permanent position with benefits may be offered after successful working of the three-month contract term.

· Compensation: Hourly rate of $16.00 per hour, eligible for over-time pay. Contract position is compensated as a 1099 contract employee and wages are reported as 1099 income.

· Benefits: Contract position is not eligible to receive any company employee benefits.

· Candidate will need to obtain and provide a negative COVID-19 test result prior to first working

· Face mask provided and optional to wear at work

· Temperature screenings, social distancing guidelines, sanitizing, disinfecting, and cleaning procedures in place

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
