A Little About You:
We are looking for someone who enjoys both handling day-to-day routine accounting tasks and also savors a good reconciliation puzzle. You will be working closely with the rest of the accounting team, assisting in managing all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be interacting regularly with departments across the company as you ensure accurate coding of company expenses. The right candidate will be sharp, detail-oriented, and not afraid of data entry. The ability to think quickly and contribute solutions is something we strongly value. Job Description:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for all bill payment and purchasing activity while providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. They’ll work closely with the Accounting team while being a friendly and approachable resource for other departments throughout the company. Their role is to process payments and help to control expenses by verifying incoming invoices with individuals both inside and outside the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pays vendors by monitoring invoices; verifying federal ID numbers; scheduling and preparing checks, EFTs, and credit card payments; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies: ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos, and keeping thorough documentation.
- Receives and verifies Concur employee expense reports and audits for accuracy.
- Properly codes transactions in the general ledger by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries in NetSuite.
- Verifies all invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for approvals.
- Reconciles vendors monthly statements and related transactions.
- Comfortable with performing other accounting and clerical functions to support the accounting department, as requested.
- Process hard copies of company documents, such as maintaining files and mailing checks.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Established analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and
strong accuracy in working with numbers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance, prioritize and manage multiple tasks of differing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with other members of the accounting team and to work on projects without supervision when appropriate.
- High levels of personal integrity and experience in managing and protecting
confidential data and information.
- Knowledge or experience with basic accounting principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education/Experience:
- 4-year degree in Accounting or 3 years of experience in a corporate accounting department.

Reports to: Accounting Operations Manager
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.
Compensation:
Salaried full time. We evaluate our compensation offerings according to market medians and internal pay equity. The salary starts at $44,000 per year with starting salary potential increasing depending on experience.
