The Role

We are seeking an Order Fulfillment Supervisor with familiarity in e-commerce (small-parcel) and large bulk order shipments to join our team. A successful candidate will be a problem solver that's well-spoken, patient and committed to helping our customers enjoy our products. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and will be responsible for ensuring on-time shipments while providing clear, informative answers to customer services to address any questions and concerns.

This position will supervise the order fulfillment team and processes. The employee will perform or oversee tasks that include order printing, order assembly, assigning work to department team(s), the order fulfillment process, and the manufacturing order process. The employee will be responsible for supervising the order fulfillment team and ensuring adherence to company practices, processes, and policies. The employee will be the focal point for answering questions that pertain to the order fulfillment department. This position will report to the Operations Manager.

The Order Fulfillment Supervisor role is an onsite hourly position with standard hours of 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday. Hours can be periodically flexible to start up to one half hour earlier (630am).

Starting salary and bonus is experience dependent but targeted at $50,000 with a profit sharing bonus based on company performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Daily review and prioritization of all orders shipping out

· Printing of all customer orders from Microsoft GP

· Order assembly and assignment of work to department associates

· Supervise order fulfillment team, workflow and processes

· Ensure accuracy and timely execution of all orders being shipped

· Ensure timely reporting and execution of the manufacturing order (MO) process

· Ensure timely reporting and execution of the order fulfillment paperwork process

· Assist with general duties such as label printing, gift specifications and SOP’s

· Assist with general company initiatives, such as cost savings and continuous improvements

· Other duties as assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Previous leadership or supervisory/management experience a plus

· Food manufacturing experience a plus

· Ability to multitask and work independently

· Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Must possess excellent computer skills

· Emphasizes personal and professional growth

· Maintains a good, cooperative and respectful attitude that align with company core values

· Comply with food safety, GMP’s and all applicable safety regulations

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent related experience and/or training in the field

- Minimum 2 years of working independently preferred

- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing setting experience preferred

- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Supervises employees and processes of the order fulfillment department

- Ensures departmental compliance to all company policies

Physical Requirements:

- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
