Fusion Health is seeking a bright, motivated, and outgoing RFP/ Proposal Writer to join our Business Development team in our Woodbridge, NJ office! This candidate will participate in dynamic and challenging projects to create effective and compelling proposal response strategies with a focus on Procurement, RFP Management, and Proposal Writing. Position Description & Responsibilities:
The Business Development team is vital to our organization’s mission and growth. This role will provide assistance with a multitude of projects that will enhance the Business Development team’s success, such as:
- Contribute to the creation and execution of effective sales and marketing strategies for the company with regular guidance from the Business Development
team. - Monitor opportunities across multiple platforms such as websites, publications, and paid subscriptions for proposal requests.
- Create accurate and compelling content for RFPs leveraging various forms of corporate marketing collateral.
- Develop and submit proposals in response to specific proposal requests.
- Coordinate and assemble cohesive proposals including technical, contractual, and pricing content, while ensuring timely submission of accurate, high quality proposals.
- Drive compliance of proposal development processes by engaging cross-functional teams to meet interim milestones needed for timely submission of proposals.
- Develop content tailored to various stages of the buying process and personas, and maintain and refine RFP content library.
- Report RFP statistics to EVP of Business Development, and maintain business development data and reporting tools to evaluate performance and organize client and prospective client information
- Craft messages for different formats, including social media, website, events, blog, sales enablement, and demand generation to support campaigns and content strategies.
- Identify market trends and recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate and submit OPRA/FOIA requests.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify sell-against strategies.
- Generate leads, assess potential clients, and provide support for one or more major phases of the sales process
- Analyze our products and services and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue
- Develop and deliver key messages to leads and clients by developing marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and more
- Evaluate and improve sales, marketing, and branding strategies
- Perform market and competitor analysis toward obtaining an increased market share
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Business or equivalent.
- 5 years of overall experience in Proposal Writing and Procurement Management for government / public sector opportunities.
- Must have a proven track record of retaining new business via high RFP/RFI/RFQ win rates.
- APMP Certification highly desirable, or equivalent.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Adobe tools required.

- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment with the other team members.
- Must be able to utilize previous RFP responses to amend and modify to prepare a response.
- Research-driven, creative thinker that can learn about competition, business processes and potential opportunities or problems facing our industry
- Photoshop, photography, and video skills a plus
- Experience in healthcare technology a plus.
- Clinical experience a plus.
Additional Details:
- This is an on-site, full-time, salaried position located in our Woodbridge, New Jersey headquarters. Our normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
