The Vomela Transportation Group has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This position will be responsible for accurate and timely invoicing of sales orders and delivery of those invoices to the customer via mail, web site or email. Assisting customers with questions and reporting needs to get timely payment of invoices. Assisting sales and customer service with accounts receivable questions, reports and transactions.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain accounts receivables reports.
• Responsible for contacting customers on past due invoices.
• Work closely with CSR’S and Sales Representatives to correct billing issues.
• Prepare monthly statements for customers.
• Consolidate monthly aging reports for sales team and management.
• Manages accounts specific billing request.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Make recommendations for improvements.
• Provide accurate and timely invoices to customers.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
• High school diploma required
• Associate degree in Business or Accounting or 1 to 2 years’ experience accounting related job
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be proactive in nature
• Analytical
• Must have consistently accurate data entry skills
• Ability to organize and process a large volume of paper and electronic information
• Must understand debit and credit transactions in relation to balance and income statement accounts
