Fusion Transport offer more than 40 years of industry leading experience providing customized supply chain solutions. We are a rapidly growing >$300M company with nationwide presence. We are an integrated third-party logistics company, with a brokerage division, an in-house long-haul fleet, several warehouses around the country, and a retail consolidation business. We currently operate under three levels of services which include Assets, Brokerage, and Warehousing.
Our freight brokerage business is growing rapidly (operating under the well-established Am Trans brand) and looking for experienced brokers to join our team. Our integrated 3PL business allows brokers to leverage other parts of the business as selling points in ways that traditional brokers can't, making it easier to build relationships and sell to clients.

Job Overview:
The Regional Consolidation Load Planner is directly responsible for load planning and routing of consolidated less than truckload orders into efficient multi-stop truckloads exiting our Southern California warehouse to destinations across the continental United States. This is an analytical planning role within the freight operations division and is responsible for ensuring Fusion is following customer delivery requirements, achieving lane level profitability, and working closely with other internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of planned loads. This position will be based out of our Rancho Cucamonga warehouse facility.
General Responsibilities:
- Planning consolidated LTL truckloads, working closely with the Dispatch and Warehouse teams
- Making & tracking delivery appointments with the assistance of the Admin team
- Consolidating planned loads in MercuryGate, our TMS system
- Communicating load delays/Exceptions to Internal Stakeholders for resolution
- Analyzing gross margins by load in order to achieve targets
- Understand trailer utilization, freight characteristics, and loading requirements in order to optimize margins
- Collaborate with fellow Team Members to ensure on time execution of customer deliveries

- Industry Experience (2 years preferred)
