Current Landscape:
As financial wellness and retirement planning gain prominence as sought-after employee benefits, Future Capital has strategically partnered with distributors to expand our reach. We are now looking for a driven sales and relationship professional to work alongside our high-net-worth clients at those partners and take on existing relationships.
Role Overview:
Our Retirement Counselors provide one-on-one support over the phone for clients to receive a retirement planning analysis based on their individual financial goals. Knowledge of the financial services industry, specifically retirement plans would be optimal to be able to effectively engage with our clients.
All employees of our firm are tasked with providing excellent service with the intent of helping clients obtain their retirement goals and having them hire us as their asset managers. This position combines a consultative approach to sales by helping people make informed decisions about their retirement and investment needs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ongoing sales efforts to current and potential clients to increase adoption of product
- Pursue relationships with existing & new partner employees to assist in hiring Future Capital for 401(k) management services. This includes knowledge of financial markets and individual retirement plan specifications. This will all be through Future Capital’s proprietary technology and internal tool suite.
- Identify outside financial services needs for each client
- Retain, develop, and cultivate new relationships with clients
- Follow up with clients by phone and email to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Conduct annual reviews with clients to evaluate any changes that may impact their financial goals.
- Identify and assist in resolving client issues or complaints from clients you oversee.
- Ongoing sales efforts to recognize new potential partners
- May conduct group education and enrollment/implementation meetings for qualified plan participants
- Promote product usage among eligible participants achieving high adoption of services offered
- May coordinate enrollment meeting dates, resources, and communication efforts
- Provide input as a “voice for the customer” for another internal department including Sales, Operations, and Development
- Maintain knowledge and adherence to established policies and procedures in accordance with compliance objectives
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, College Degree a plus
- Spanish speaking is a significant plus
- 1 years of Financial Services experience
- Ability to learn proprietary computer systems (internal tools)
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Strong listening skills (attentive, active, and objective)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral skills)
- Excellent troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Professional/Team Player
- RIA Series 65 within 6 months of hire
