What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Instructor position at Future Stars Camps?
Position Summary:
An Instructor with Future Stars Camps is responsible for leading one of the following activities throughout the camp day: Art, Fine Arts, Hollywood, Robotics, Science, Sports, and Tennis.
Ideal Candidates Include:
- Elementary and High School teachers
- Teaching Assistants or Aides
- Experienced childcare professionals
- Recent college graduates with a passion for working with children
- Physical Education Teachers, Experienced Coaches
Responsibilities:
- Engage campers and deliver fun based curriculum provided by Future Stars
- Communicate effectively with the group Counselors and Directors
Knowledge, Competencies & Skills:
- Previous experience working with children
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Understand and support the mission of the organization
- Positive attitude
- Commitment to the growth and development of campers
- Commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work
- Excellent judgment along with the ability to identify problems and work quickly to find solutions
Benefits:
Full time summer position with additional pay available for optional AM and PM extended hours. A staff referral program is available for all employees to earn bonus pay. Future Stars Summer Camps is in our 53rd summer and offer a professional atmosphere with a positive daily work environment.
