Future women’s lifestyle is one of the leading female content platforms providing expert advice to help real women make informed decisions and lead smarter, healthier, happier lives.
As Staff Writer, Digital News you will be responsible for writing digital news content for our fast paced Women's Lifestyle brands. This content will primarily be concerned with increasing scale through informative and unique news gathering as well as coming up with angles that can be monetized through affiliate links. The content will need to be compelling, relevant, unique and search-targeted with the aim of driving digital scale.
You will pitch and write four news stories a day, as approved by Editors, as well as reporting & monitoring the performance of news stories. Liaising closely with the UK-based ecommerce experts to optimise revenue, improving, optimising and editing the news content based on rankings, continuous analysis to ensure maximum visibility. Another exciting element to this role is working with the wider team to create content over key peak trading events such as Black Friday.

Requirements
- Passionate about the market and able to display expertise in news gathering
- Exceptional editing and writing skills – a natural copywriter, from the ability to write snappy headlines to tight grammar control, through to the ability to choose just the right image to draw people in.
- First-rate SEO expertise and be able to apply it to our content
- You’ll have a passion for the data side of news writing and closely monitor and interpret performance and trends
- Good contacts in the industry to secure exclusive news content before it breaks and expert commentary.
