SUMMARY
Drives trucks or tractors at vehicle parking or loading docking area to move, position or park trucks or trailers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drives trucks around dock area for transportation company or department.
Spots (positions) loaded or unloaded trailers at assigned docks for unloading or loading using tractor.
May connect loaded trailers to tractors for delivery drivers. May also fuel tractors for drivers.
May assist workers in loading and unloading truck and trailers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3 - 6 months formal drivers training; and 3 years driving experience. Class "A" CDL is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization and customer representatives. Must be able to follow
