Job Description Summary:
Responsible for leading, implementing, and maintaining effective environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure a safe work environment free of recognizable hazards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage all facility environmental health and safety programs.
- Supervise, coach, and develop site leaders.
- Lead projects and evaluate processes to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and provide safety and environmental training for all sites.
- Participate in Occupational Safety and Health inspections and follow-up procedures.
- Develop safety policies, goals, programs, and training.
- Communicate technical information effectively to employees, functional managers, and facility management teams.
- Periodically review policies, programs, and metrics to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Perform other duties as needed to support business directives and goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or 2 years of experience in environmental health and safety management.
- Demonstrated ability to use influence skills to develop and implement effective safety programs engaging all employees.
