The Operations Analytics Manager will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting operational data to identify opportunities for improving business processes and enhancing customer experiences. Responsible for assisting Operations to make data driven decisions. Responsible for maintaining positive, mutually beneficial relationships with internal customers such as Supply, Customer Service, and IT. Negotiates to yes and finds win-win outcomes to complex problems. Manages all materials and purchased finished goods requirements through purchasing to satisfy demand while maintaining an appropriate level of inventory. Works independently and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and be able to identify key insights from complex data sets. Essential Duties:
- Be a critical member of the cross functional S&OP team and translate changes in demand to the need for strategic changes to supply plans.
- Responsible for creating monthly capacity plan.
- Be a strong point of escalation for supply needs both internally and externally.
- Proactively assess requirements and maintain order points and economic order quantities through evaluating historical usage, vendor history, physical assessment, direct communication with staff and computer-generated demand
- Hit cost savings initiatives annually.
- Establish purchasing priorities based on specific customer orders
- Manage inventory at all locations.
- Manage aging inventory and disposition inventory when necessary to maintain targets.
- Review and set ABCD and safety stock schedule
- Set blanket orders annually for vendors who qualify.
- Annual reporting of Standard Cost
- Manage activation and deactivation of part numbers.
- Apply technology and acquire knowledge to improve job performance.
- Analyze and interpret data from various sources to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in analytics efforts.
- Create dashboards and reports for stakeholders to monitor KPIs.
- Provide recommendations based on data-driven insights to drive business growth and improve customer experience.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in operations analytics or supply chain, Purchasing and Material Planning
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets
- Proficiency in statistical tools such as SAS or R
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Expert with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with AirTable is a plus.
- CPSM certification is a plus.
Training, Education & Experience:
- BA in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field. Desired fields of experience include medical devices, pharmaceutical, food, or automotive.
- Training and or certifications in FDA, GMP, ISO, TS, TQM, LSS is a plus.
Salary : $81,700 - $103,000
