Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned) Cleans grease and dirt from products Removes rust from metal surfaces with blasting agents Applies masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated. Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color. Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose. Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray. Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat. Coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer with brush or other means Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent. Immediately report all Incidents/Accidents, no matter how small, to their Supervisor. MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Normal office environment Heavy physical effort required including pulling and lifting or moving heavy weight material with frequent lifting and/or moving of materials or equipment (over 50 pounds). Requires the ability to continuously work around any or all of the following: noise, dust, heat, cold, solvents, fumes and heavy equipment Requires working in outdoor weather conditions Requires constant standing, sitting, bending, crouching, walking, pulling, pushing, reaching, kneeling Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and/or evenings as necessary (based on project demands) Requires frequently working in confined spaces. Requires working at all heights Requires climbing up and down ladders, scaffolds and other object
