Bankruptcy Specialist

The Bankruptcy Specialist is responsible for reviewing and preparation of bankruptcy documents on behalf of Arivo for both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. The Bankruptcy Specialist will also ensure accounts are updated, statuses are communicated, and documents are prepared and filed within required time frames. The Bankruptcy Specialist makes outbound/inbound calls to/from attorneys and trustees. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor for new bankruptcy filing by utilizing PACER and download all corresponding documents from docket Prepare documentation and manage accounts for required actions prior to deadline Diligently manage all outstanding communications, written and verbal, internal and external Perform follow up with attorneys and bankruptcy trustees, follow up timely for hearings, discharges and critical steps and request referrals on delinquent bankruptcies and status updates Develop and maintain relationship with bankruptcy attorneys and trustees Document Arivo’s Loan Servicing System with appropriate action and/or follow up Ensure Arivo’s processes are in compliance with any changing bankruptcy laws and regulations Monitor trustee payments, frequency and amount Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
