Great entry-level Packer - Food Production position available at our Ft. Lauderdale location for a dedicated individual looking to work their way up at a growing company. The ideal Packer - Food Production candidate will have previous experience assembling and packaging meal components in a fast-paced environment. Our company serves and delivers catered meals to those in need such as school children, senior citizens, and military members. Great for candidates who are seeking longevity and opportunities for advancement in their career! Position will provide housekeeping support and other duties as required for daily (M-F) meal production.
Packer - Food Production Responsibilities:
- Attention to accurate counts and portioning
- Practice food safety
- Some manual lifting
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Count and sort items with accuracy
- Other duties assigned by management
Packer - Food Production Requirements:
- Prior experience with Pallet Jack preferred, but not required
- Minimum H.S. diploma/GED
- Flexibility- start and end times can vary according to needs of the department.
Packer Physical Demands:
Amount of Time:
- Under 1/3: Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl
- Talk or hear; 1/3 to 2/3: Walk; Over 2/3: See, Stand, Reach with hands and arms, Use hands to finger/handle/feel
- Weight Lifting/Exertion=Amount of Time: Under 1/3: Up to 50 lbs.
- Under 1/3: Wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
- Work near moving mechanical parts
