Team Overview
As part of the Residential Customer Success team, this position will achieve and exceed sales goals as assigned. This inside sales position is based in our corporate office in Parsippany, NJ on a hybrid 3:2 in office schedule.
Summary
GAF is seeking a high energy sales professional with a track record of building successful relationships and closing new business. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales goals which result from inbound lead generation and an existing customer database. You will act as a liaison between GAF and our clients, educating and skillfully guiding Residential customers through the buying experience while ensuring the highest level of quality, customer care, and integrity. Essential Duties
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual retention and new business development sales goals.
- Daily planning to maximize sales activities including phone, email, and social media.
- Provide timely and accurate response and follow-up with all customer inquiries.
- Develop and execute account plans - regularly review progress towards goals with customers.
- Collaborate on lead generation and sales with Sales and Marketing, as needed.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations as appropriate.
- Effectively utilize a CRM system (Salesforce) to track and customer related activity, lead dashboards and reports, call lists and more.
- Serve as a product expert by providing up-to-date product information.
- Travel as needed 5-10%.
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience (Sales experience in the building material industry is preferred).
- 2 years of Account Management experience is preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Google Business Suite, SalesForce and applicable business systems.
- Bilingual: Spanish speaking, preferred
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers’ needs and provide the correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience.
- Team player, with a desire to work in a competitive but nurturing environment.
- Self-motivated and driven individual - not satisfied with the status quo.
- Proactive, never fail attitude/ ability to work and motivate yourself independently while also working collaboratively.
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills.
- Experience with lead qualification and objection handling.
- Time and sales pipeline management.
