Project Scheduler

 We have an immediate opening for a Project Scheduler that will provide key data to management to update program and project status.

Position Description:

• Coordinate the preparation of project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies
• Identifies and records the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.
• Evaluate actual construction progress and provide regular schedule updates.
• Interfaces with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems.
• Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses
• Identify schedule related problems which arise during project execution and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions
• Conduct construction/project site visits for progress
• Review contractor’s weekly and monthly schedule progress, prepare narrative of findings, submit and present to management for decision making
• Prepares and issues proposal and preliminary schedule.
• Incorporates resource and/or cost loading data into schedules as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs
• Bachelor's Degree in related field is required. A high school diploma, GED and/or equivalent combination of education and work experience may be substituted.
• Sound knowledge of schedule systems, principles and practices required.
• Advanced proficiency in specified software including, but not limited to, Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Excel, Word and
• Excellent oral and written
• Flexibility in schedule and transportation to work at multiple sites based on assigned schedule and duties
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
