What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store staff position at Gage Marine?
Our slogan is "Lake Life Begins with Gage" and our Lake Life store embodies this philosophy! The store offers apparel, Gage gear, home decor items and fashion accessories.
Your responsibilities will include serving customers and assisting with basic store management tasks.
This could be a year-round or seasonal position averaging 20-30 hours per week, primarily in the evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and determine their needs
- Ring up customer sales, handle returns and other customer issues
- Accurately handle cash and sales receipts so that the daily business can be reconciled each day at the close of business
- Assist with pricing and merchandising
- Opening and closing the store using required procedures
You'd be great for this role if :
- You have previous experience working in a retail environment
- You are friendly and energetic
- You are available to work some weekends and evenings
- You have proven customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills
- You are computer literate and able to operate a POS system
- You love living the Lake Life!
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods
- Lift up to 40 lbs. Unassisted
