Gaia's Garden Cafe is looking for a part-time barista to join our team! Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, punctual, friendly, and reliable. This is a part-time day position with potential for full-time as we head into our busy season! Hourly wage is $12 tips. We also offer a 50% employee discount free beverage every shift.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
- Take customer orders
- Serve beverages and prepared food
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Interact with customers regularly and professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience as a barista/cashier
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations - Food handlers permit required
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively in a team setting
- Weekends required
- Must be 18 or older
