We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide exceptional care to our clients. As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medical documentation, and light housekeeping.
Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or physician
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation needs
- Administer medication as directed by the supervising nurse or physician
- Provide emotional support to clients and their families
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients with special dietary needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
