Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continual basis. It does not exclude other duties that may be assigned.)

· Manage facilities planning, including physical layout, space allocation, office moves, furniture needs, and office equipment needs. Coordinate projects with other departments, contractors, and vendors.

· Oversee facility inspections, building inspector visits, and facility safety inspections. Address any issues that arise.

· Manage vendor relationships. Review and negotiate bids for vendor services (e.g., janitorial, landscape, HVAC, etc.). Ensure vendor services are performed timely and properly. Review vendor invoices for accuracy.

· Manage all building security needs. Maintain card access systems and security systems. Establish and communicate emergency and security procedures. Establish and communicate health and safety procedures in accordance with OSHA standards

· Manage vehicle fleet and equipment in accordance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory standards. Schedule/manage required DOT inspections, OSHA compliance, truck inspections, and safety inspections. Ensure external fleet appearance is maintained to company standards. Address any issues that arise.

  • Drive a positive work environment and utilize effective communication skills at all levels of the organization.

· Develop procedural manuals, form instructions, contracts record keeping and reporting systems for transportation and facilities in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Education & Experience:

Must be at least 21 years of age to perform this job. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Good driving record. Drug-free; background check

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Facilities Management, Business, Transportation or Logistics

· 2-year experience in facilities Management and/or operations Management

· Possess presentation/training experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work irregular hours with required travel.

· Hold a valid driver’s license and adequate vehicle insurance

· Must be able to be pass a DOT physical

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Basic reading and writing skills are necessary.

· Energetic self-starter with superb organizational and time management skills, attention to details and proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of procedures, policies, and federal and state regulations.

· Advanced knowledge of MS Office and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.

· Priority setting and proper sense of urgency, ability to multi-task.

· Drive for results.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

  • Ability to work overtime. Overtime is required when necessary. Overtime is dependent upon production demands. The starting time or ending time of the shift as well as days of the week working may vary depending upon overtime requirements.
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
