GalaxyCon is a festival of fandom that celebrates comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, cosplay, and more. GalaxyCon is more than a comic-con, it’s a galaxy of fun! 🚀 


We are looking for a reliable and efficient Warehouse Manager to join our team and help us manage our inventory and logistics for our events. This is a full-time position based out of our Fort Lauderdale, FL. offices. This is not a remote position.


Key Responsibilities:


Day to Day:

  • Making sure the warehouse is organized, inventoried and constantly adapting the storage space to our ever-changing needs
  • Connecting with each department making sure everything they need for the upcoming show has arrived and prepped to be loaded on the truck
  • Handling aspects of loading/unloading the trucks in a timely and systemic way
  • Preparing and shipping marketing packages to various destinations
  • Assisting with catering/green room orders for the events
  • Packing supplies for VIP and deluxe bags at the show
  • Handling and managing small and large deliveries to both GalaxyCon offices and transporting them to their designated place
  • Performing any physical labor required for the warehouse operations

Traveling to GalaxyCon events and managing the onsite logistics, such as:

  • Sorting and directing each department to their belongings
  • Setting up and troubleshooting the monitors and the ATMs at the venue
  • Running errands when asked by the event staff
  • Helping facilitate show breakdown, making sure everything that needs to get loaded onto the truck will be properly packed and staged in the loading area
  • Other job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role
  • Forklift certification is highly preferred. Candidates with this qualification will be prioritized.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pound loads to waist level.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and otherwise operate an unpowered fully loaded pallet jack, hand-truck and u-boat.
  • Must have basic tool use skills: hammer, power drill, screwdriver, and box citter.
  • Able and willing to climb 30 foot ladder.
  • A physical stamina, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects, operate machinery, and work in various weather conditions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
  • A passion for comic books, pop culture, sci-fi, fantasy, anime, gaming, cosplay, and more
  • A willingness and ability to travel to GalaxyCon events, which may require working on weekends and holidays
