Overview
This is a full-time position supporting our Total Safety Consulting Team. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
This role requires travel between company’s administrative offices and client/prospect locations, and events.

Position Summary:
Primarily passionate about oversight of Business Development Specialists to ensure Gallagher’s marketing and sales activities generate appropriate sales pipeline which leads to new business sales results. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are relevant aspects of the position, along with outstanding leadership to drive high funnel sales activity growing the sales pipeline to exceed growth targets.
Key responsibilities also include:
- Formulate standard/routine proposals in conjunction with team members and various functional groups.
- Develop a budget and price estimate using standard models.
- Develop project plans, define roles and responsibilities and the scope of work for each project with input from clients/prospects, project leaders and functional groups.
- Draft the narrative that ties the project components together and package and assist in communicating the proposal to the client/prospect.
- Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group, i.e., clear details, critical timeframes and expectations.
- Collaborate with the operations finance group to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals, including marketing. Track and report on the status of all proposal components.
- Close sales of services and products.
- Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Participate in site visits. Work with our Sales, Marketing, & Client Management Group Manager to develop and implement effective marketing materials, campaigns and techniques.
- Develop and participate in client/prospect “outreach” activities, including attendance at trade shows, attendance at and/or presentation of seminars, participation in industry-specific professional organizations, etc. Participate in activities as part of the leadership team of GB Technical Services. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- 7 years related experience including consistent track record in business sales or related marketing, preferably in the field of construction.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and statistical/market analysis, Salesforce.
- Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Desired:
- Bachelor's and Master's degree desirable.
- Extensive experience in leading a team of inside sales professionals within B2B sales.
- Strong prospecting and client development skills among executives of enterprise-led organizations.
