The HRCC team is looking for a Compensation Consultant to join their growing practice. The Compensation Consultant participates as an integral member of multiple client consulting teams. Client projects are focused in the public sector and designed to provide broad-based exposure to the design, development, and implementation aspects of classification and compensation consulting concepts and processes. The Consultant demonstrates leadership qualities through effective management of projects, through ability to positively influence clients in their decision making pertaining to solving challenging classification and total rewards issues and, ultimately supporting initiatives to grow revenue and profitability of the practice. The successful candidate will step into a multi-faceted role that includes advising clients on a myriad of challenging issues.
Position Summary:
Compensation Consultant II - Compensation & Rewards plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity for the client. This opportunity is 100% remote.
Pay Range:
This role is incentive eligible based on standardized performance metrics across the service line.
- Advising clients on the design and implementation of employee classification, pay and rewards program solutions that link closely to the client organization’s strategic business objectives.
- Planning, scoping, budgeting, resourcing and leading multiple projects that in some instances will be complex and interdisciplinary in nature.
- Acting as a lead or primary interface with the client, responsible for the day-to-day relationship and advising activities.
- Performing as a subject matter expert providing technical advice and counsel to colleagues and clients on the myriad of employee classification, pay and rewards issues to include relevant marketplace trends and developments.
- Collaborating with colleagues on responding to RFPs by creating proposals and presenting to potential clients and performing other asset-building initiatives to grow revenue and profitability.
- Makes verbal presentations to clients, employees, and leadership on study process, findings, and recommendations.
- Gathering and analyzing data and reviewing the work product of analysts prior to submittal to Principal Consultant or Managing Director before distribution to client.
- Responsible for the development and presentation of final reports to clients.
- May include additional responsibilities as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years related experience
