Responsibilities:This role will serve as the Firm's performance reporting expert and provide day-to-day oversight of the analyst group. As an expert, the person will have several years of experience calculating investment performance for both public and private markets, as well as an in-depth understanding of key performance measurement concepts. Ideally, this includes mastery of some or all of the following systems: PARis, Morningstar Direct, Evestment, and Windham. This person should also have experience with an analyst's day-to-day tasks such as generating monthly and quarterly performance reports, asset allocation, rebalancing, and drafting direction letters. They should have experience interacting with custodians, investment managers, and attorneys. This person will use their skill and experience to review analyst output, ensure adherence to existing policies and procedures, chair monthly analyst meetings, train new analysts, as well as retain primary analyst responsibility on several accounts. Furthermore, this person will work with senior staff to allocate analyst resources, enhance policies and procedures, and improve education and training.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience required.
- Working knowledge of performance measurement, accounting, and investment strategy.
- Mastery of at least one of the following systems: PARis, Morningstar Direct, Evestment, and Windham.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and MS Office.
Preferred Behaviors:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively. The candidate should be good at managing and collaborating with people, as well as teaching.
