Ad Operations Assistant

We’re seeking a full-time Ad Operations Assistant.  We're looking for someone who can work in the New York City office, ideally has a minimum of 1 year of advertising operations and/or digital media sales planning experience. This candidate should be a self-starter who understands the online advertising industry. The role requires a strong attention to detail and a passion for popular styles and trends.

Responsibilities:

• Support Ad Ops team in daily campaign maintenance
• Manage post-sale campaign lifecycle including: Ad trafficking, Campaign monitoring, Reporting & Monthly Billing Reconciliation
• Responsible for collecting all banner assets & tags from clients against strict deadlines
• Assist with inventory availability requests
• Monitor launch of all ad campaigns and provide screenshots to clients
• Troubleshoot any campaign issues (including ad serving and 3rd party reporting discrepancies)
• Monitor campaign pacing on a daily basis
• Perform daily QA on ad campaigns
• Set up and monitor private marketplace and programmatic guaranteed deals
• Provide mid-campaign and end-of-campaign reporting to clients
• Develop optimization strategies on a campaign-by-campaign basis to maximize advertiser's performance

Qualifications and Expectations:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• 1 year experience in ad ops and/or media sales planning
• Familiarity with third party ad servers, such Google Ad Manager, DART, Atlas, OpenX, etc. (we use Google Ad Manager, so direct GAM experience is preferred)
• Excellent MS Excel skills, and know your way around other MS Office products (Word, Powerpoint)
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Strong analytics, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working in a start-up environment and wearing multiple hats as needed
• Great with computers (Mac experience preferred), including word processing, spreadsheets, and general internet savvy
• Excellent writing and strong communication skills
• Experience with ad trafficking and/or GAM a plus.
