Dorm Counselor/Job Coach Schedule:
Full time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm, duration of work varies please call for more information


Job Duties:

  • Provide guidance/assistance to students throughout the day with daily living skills such as:
    • Personal hygiene
    • Chores
    • Meals
  • Monitor student behavior and intervene if necessary
  • Maintain regular contact with parents of students
  • Review and keep up to date logs and student training
  • Attend meetings with other dormitory/coaching staff, professional and education staff to share observations and develop plans for students
  • Escort and assist students with activities on and off campus

Dorm Counselor/Job Coach Qualifications:

  • 6 months experience supporting individuals with disabilities
  • High School diploma of GED
  • Professional communication skills 1 on 1 and group settings
  • Clean driving record and license
  • Capable of working with a professional demeanor with individuals of all abilities
  • Comfortable applying behavior modification techniques
