SUMMARY
The In-Stock Planner is responsible for demand and inventory planning activities for an assigned category of the business. This position is responsible for SKU-level forecasting, inventory management, and analysis to drive inventory plans that meet key business objectives and financial goals in collaboration with the Merchant/Buying team’s assortment vision. In addition, associates in this role are expected to use critical thinking, strong communication, cross functional partnerships, curiosity, and a high level of urgency to identify and solve problems throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Own end-to-end planning and management of inventory from SKU forecast reviews, PO generation, ETA tracking and management through PO delivery into the network.
- Develop and maintain inventory plans and manage reforecasting/replenishment for all assigned Category SKUs against the defined life cycle of the assortment.
- Analyze trends across critical planning metrics to create action plans aimed at optimizing inventory while reducing OOS risk.
- Work collaboratively with vendor partners to improve vendor performance with the intent to maximize joint operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate a high level of accountability and ownership over assigned categories.
- Work collaboratively with others to achieve GameStop goals, simplify processes, reduce costs, and deliver an unparalleled customer experience.

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, statistics, supply chain, operations, mathematics, finance, or related field.
- 3 years’ work experience in a retail inventory planning environment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to develop a plan and make business decisions with incomplete information or within ambiguous/evolving situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Tableau, and PowerBI. ERP & Planning software experience is preferred.
- SQL experience a plus.
