Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer/Temperature Screener Location: Little Rock, AR Environment: Retail Position type: Seasonal Pay Rate: $13.00 hr. General Job Functions: Conduct screenings of persons upon entry to the facility Shift & Hours: All Shifts (Mornings, Days, & Nights) Job responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to: Assist in the safety and well-being of all personnel and visitors through screening processes Monitoring and screening people for entrance onto the property Reporting screening information to clients Provide excellent customer service Adhere to all company safety, service, operating, and emergency standards Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations Organizational Support: May perform desk duties, including telecommunications (telephone, computer terminal, radio), processing reports Attends training as assigned Prepares clear, accurate and complete reports on all activities as required Screening and Monitoring: Normally assigned to a fixed post in an assigned area Continually observes for safety hazards and persons needing assistance Handles inquiries made by the public and clients Collects information and either acts upon it if within the scope of their authority or agency Conducts screenings of persons upon entry to the facility Controls, regulates, and directs pedestrian traffic General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide excellent customer service to our clients. Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site. Respond quickly to critical situations. Ability to read and write detailed reports. Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to: At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements. Ability to sit, stand, walk, or be outside for long periods of time Customer service skills/experience Communication skills General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include: Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED) Pass an extensive screening process Pass an extensive screening process.
