Garden State Bobcat/Woods Machinery is accepting applications for the position of Service Manager in Freehold, NJ. Garden State Bobcat provides sales, rental, parts and service for Bobcat, Morbark, Rayco, Fecon, Finn, Green Climber, Wacker Neuson, and Protech equipment. Candidates must possess at least (2) years of experience in service management with knowledge of diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic and diesel construction equipment, including; skid steer loaders, track loaders and excavators. Strong communication skills required. Must be computer literate. Benefits include salary (dependent on experience), medical insurance, 401k, vacation and paid holidays, work uniforms.
Responsible for the profitable operation of the service department while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Must additionally provide service support to the sales and rental departments.
- Organize the efficient flow of work within the service department
- Direct shop and field technicians to ensure work is performed accurately in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain open lines of communication with customers throughout the repair process ensuring the customer is well informed at all times.
- Create quotes for service work to be performed, recommend, and upsell additional service work noted by the technicians.
- Communicate with the parts department the needs and time frame of parts required by technicians.
- Insure the proper documentation and communication of warranty related repairs to the warranty claims administrator.
- Ensure all work orders are accurately converted to an invoice and communicated to the customer.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns in a prompt and professional manner
- Support the continual training and development of technicians.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are enforced and all service tools and the shop area are well maintained and in safety compliance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
