Your Role at Pacific Aero Tech
As a Facilities Technician, you will assist our Operations team in production support. This is a hands-on position, and you’ll be working closely with our Production Floor and Project Manager to achieve departmental goals. The right candidate will demonstrate a strong mechanical ability, willingness to take on challenging tasks, and be able to maintain positive working relationships with all individuals.
The Facilities Technician will…
· Perform maintenance repairs of equipment, building, and tooling
· Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
· Perform light/minor electrical repairs
· Maintain preventative maintenance logs and functions
· Ensure fire safety equipment is in working order
· Attend monthly safety meetings
· Accurately manage hazardous waste stream in compliance with state and federal regulations
· Be the main point of contact for all facility related vendors and/or contractors
· Guarantee shop premises are maintained in a clean and orderly manner
· Understand workflows, recognize inefficiencies, and present solutions
· Investigate root cause and failure modes
· Weld at a hobbyist level
· Perform other assigned tasks

Education and/or Skills
· 18 months applicable experience in aerospace MRO environment or facilities related field
· Basic proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel to track maintenance
· Ability to learn and effectively utilize ERP Systems
· Must be able to read and write in English
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
