Responsibilities

An employee who performs any and all functions connected with the receipt, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment carried out under the supervision of the Storeroom Manager.

Qualifications

Education:High School Diploma or equivalent and the ability to read and write English are required.

Experience:Experience in a computerized warehouse operation (receiving, storage and distribution) is desirable preferably in a healthcare environment.

Physical Demands: Position is physical requiring the ability to lift up 25 pounds with occasional lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 75 pounds. Occasional bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching is required.  Requires 100% standing or walking. Expressing or exchanging ideas by spoken word required.  Work week is Monday – Friday and alternating Sundays.

Working Environment: May have occasional exposure to blood, body substances, infectious materials, chemical hazards, vibration, radiation, slippery surfaces, or noise that may result from performance of duties.

Degree of Supervision Required: Minimal.Must be able to work independently.
