Job Title: Sampling Team Member
Department: Sampling
Reports To: Sampling Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for producing samples of various sizes for customers by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Obtains work instructions from manager and daily work order.*
2. Pulls leather samples from sampling inventory if available or from Garrett inventory.*
3. Records the use of Garrett inventory leather on the inventory sheet.*
4. Uses die cutting machine with appropriate sized die cut to cut leather samples.*
5. Labels leather samples using appropriate labels.*
6. Places finished sample in storage area by set or by color.*
7. Obtains color by product list, assembles book, and trims samples as necessary.*
8. Performs ship out tasks in SAP.*
9. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of SAP.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
