Shift/Schedule: End of Week Nights (Thursday - Saturday & every other Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Pay range: $34.00 - $36.00/hr
Summary of Job: The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care for individuals served. The RN position also services as clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Coordinates services with various public and private community health, mental health and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals.
*Assists individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
*Conducts assessments and treatment plans.
*Provides individual and family counseling.
*Participates in the development of educational curriculum.
*Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring, such as diabetes and blood pressure.
*Administers medication as required by protocol.
*Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed.
*Completes clinical documentation as required.
*Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
*Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
*Performs other related duties assigned.
Job Requirements:

*Valid and current state-specific RN license.
*Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed.

*Trauma Informed Care experience preferred.

*Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
*Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
Driving Requirements:
*If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
*If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
A Nursing Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
Work Environment
May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
