Assistant System Specialist

Job Summary

The Information Security program protects Company's data, systems, and employees from evolving cyber threats and provides cybersecurity governance for the company. Information Security needs a qualified cybersecurity professional with skills to enhance continuity of operations in support the following objectives:

• Privileged Access Management (PAM) deployment and adoption project
• Endpoint software review and evaluation

Job Description

• Assist with the transition of credentials for service accounts, shared administrative accounts, and non-human accounts to be managed within a new enterprise password vault platform as part of a Privileged Access Management (PAM) deployment and adoption project. Will primarily work with other IT personnel to transition the accounts and ensure proper usage of the platform.
• Assist with review and evaluation of software currently deployed on workstations; perform an evaluation per application to determine if it is permitted, conditionally permitted, or not permitted in accordance to established Information Security guidelines.
• Assist with other Information Security operational duties as assigned

Skills Required

• Familiarity with Active Directory service accounts and permissions

Education/Training/Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience within Information Technology
• Minimum 1 year of experience within Information Security or performing cybersecurity functions

Additional Requirements

• Familiarity with Active Directory service accounts and permissions
• Preferred experience with an enterprise password vault platform such as CyberArk Privileged Access Manager, Thycotic Secret Server, or BeyondTrust Password Safe as examples
• Preferred experience with Microsoft security solutions
• Preferred experience with conducting cybersecurity risk analysis or assessments
• Preferred multi-domain cybersecurity certification; such as, but not limited to, CompTIA Security , (ISC)2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $31.00 - $31.40 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
