The Director of Operations is responsible for managing the ongoing operations and implementing the company’s strategic initiative. The Director of Operations collaborates closely with the Board of Directors to set and meet business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of related Health Care experience required
- Computer knowledge; MS Word and MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises Operations, IT, Compliance, Contracting, Credentialing, Marketing, Facilities, and Property Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for physician recruitment, contracting, and credentialing including obtaining hospital privileges and malpractice insurance.
- Evaluates performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics and recommends business strategies to improve performance and growth results.
- Involved in the company’s operational and financial strategy setting and execution.
- Recruitment, contracting and credentialing of providers.
- Reviews all monthly reports produced by the manager (volume of charges and collection posting, unapplied credits, denials, collection, aging, timely filing, etc.)
- Reviews financial reports and ways to reduce costs.
- Responsible for overseeing the billing audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, laws, and information validation.
- Evaluates and develops marketing strategy and marketing plan.
- Develops and manages marketing campaigns and social media.
- Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Research Department.
- Oversees the safety, compliance, and productivity of the surgical centers.
- Responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of the IT infrastructure for the organization.
- Oversees technical projects in alignment with organizational goals.
- Directing the effective delivery of network development and disaster recovery system and processes.
- Directly oversees leases, licensing, permitting, construction, and buildouts of existing and new facilities.
- Maintains current client relationships and identifies areas for potential new clients to support the company's growth.
- Responsible for provider on-call schedule.
- Takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensures compliance including but not limited to HIPAA and OSHA Regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
