What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Help Desk Technician position at Gate 1 Ltd?
The IT Help Desk Technician provides technical assistance on computer systems to end users by answering questions on basic technical issues and assisting to resolve them.
- Perform remote trouble shooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Determine the best solution for the issue and walk the employee through the problem-solving process or perform the process directly
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Record events/problems/resolutions within the internal tracking system
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience as a help desk technician
- Ability to work a schedule that may include evenings/weekends/holidays
- Position requires some in-office hours in Fort Washington, PA.
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control
- Good understanding of computer systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer focused
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
