Expected Outcomes and Requirements:

Gateway is hiring a Financial Analyst to use their organizational skills and financial acumen to underwrite development projects, execute financial modeling, and support operations in pursuit of our goal of adding 100,000 residential & business passings per year. The Financial Analyst is expected to contribute in the following significant ways:

  • Support corporate finance initiatives, including corporate modeling, annual budgeting, and executing on equity and debt draws.
  • Support the reporting of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual stakeholder reporting packages.
  • Establish, formalize, and refine the criteria for target markets through industry research, demographic analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Develop benchmarks and key performance measurements for the financial and reporting performance of the enterprise, including budget versus actual reporting and other analysis.
  • Perform industry-specific research and networking.
  • Key member of the team supporting the CFO and Head of Corporate Development & FP&A as a liaison with Gateway’s operational and capital partners.

The successful candidate will bring the following to the table:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related degree field is required; MBA, CPA, or advanced professional certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to interact and effectively communicate with all members of the organization, ensuring continuity between Finance/Accounting & Operation verticals.
  • Self-starter with excellent analytical and written skills.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling, presenting, and communicating.
  • The desire to work in a fast paced and entrepreneurial organization.
  • Highly refined and adept attention to detail.
