Clinical Supervisors are responsible for:
- Conducts regular meetings with counselor staff to plan and evaluate client treatment, reviews caseload progress, and determines appropriateness of continuation or modification of treatment. Authorizes / signs off on client admissions and discharges.
- Oversees treatment planning for clients during course of treatment to ensure community referral sources are used effectively.
- Serves as a professional resource and provides clinical supervision to other counselors.
- Promotes Counselors’ professional growth: plans and schedules and / or conducts in-service and continuing education programs on subjects related to assigned specialty, motivates active participation and involvement by staff to develop and maintain their clinical skills.
- Assists with staff selection and retention by interviewing, hiring, evaluating staff performance, and recommending performance improvement or disciplinary actions.
- Plans and assigns counselor schedules and caseloads according to the established guidelines. Meets with facility leadership and works with providers/vendors to coordinate delivery of services. Recommends work and time off schedules for assigned staff, and completes caseload assignments to ensure optimal clinical operations.
- Develops and contributes to improvement of treatment protocols, procedures and outcomes, maintains and updates procedure manuals.
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Job Requirements:
- One of the following is required: Current Certified Addictions Professional (CAP); or Masters Certified Addictions Counselor (MCAP); or Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJAP) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any of the social sciences OR Master's degree in psychology, social work, mental health or substance abuse counseling, or closely related field, or equivalent education and life experience.
- Minimum of 100 hours documented clinical training in counseling theory and practice.
- Three (3) years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years of clinical supervision following licensure OR certification attainment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read
- Ability to use a keyboard and video display terminal to receive, retrieve, and/or audit information and data
- Ability to respond to telephones, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noises

Compensation (based on experience and credentials):
- Range begins at $73,486 annually
- ***3,000 Sign-On Bonus Available***
