ABOUT THE POSITION: The ideal candidate for this position will work to provide support and feedback for the ORCA Coolers manufacturing process while utilizing a quality mindset. In order to achieve this, the candidate shall effectively collaborate with others while being action orientated to maintain a high level of production quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct in process inspections of product
- Track inspection metrics
- Prepare quality reports
- Conduct first article inspection
- Oversee hold for inspection process
- Work with production to move/quarantine suspect material
- Use independent judgement to determine N/G from OK product
- Escalate issues to manager when unable to determine independent judgement
- Audit incoming deliveries
- Audit outgoing shipments
- Other quality related duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Min of 1 year experience in a quality assurance role preferred
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
- Ability to pass Ishihara color blindness test
SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change,
demonstrates learning agility with desire to grow and develop
- Attention to detail
- Ability to make judgment calls
- Basic experience with MicrosoftOffice programs preferred (excel, word, powerpoint, outlook)
- Communicates effectively
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Positive attitude with collaborative relationships
- Ability to adapt and be flexible
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelors Degree preferred

- Required to lift, retrieve, or reposition products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to safely navigate the production facility
- Normally this person is standing or walking around the facility interacting with team members
- Appropriate shoes for standing on concrete flooring is recommended
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Works in manufacturing & office environments. The noise level in the facility is usually moderate
