JOB OVERVIEW
The Account Coordinator, reporting to the National Account & Digital Director, plays a key role in working with the Client Services team to ensure sponsorship deliverables are met, assistance is provided with client relationship development, including digital impression reporting and analysis, and support is given for the sponsorship renewal process as well as Client Services operations.
The Account Coordinator will help engage clients with sponsorships of various PBS series and assist the CS team with staying organized and meeting crucial deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance & Monitoring: Client Deliverables
  • Obtain sponsor approvals on relevant series assets
  • Consistently audit client placements for accuracy on sponsorship platforms
    • Series Web sites
    • Series e-newsletters
    • Amazon Prime Channels
    • Podcasts
  • Update materials in the Client Services Operations folder
    • Maintain accurate contact information of clients and their agencies on flow charts, Google Drive, Salesforce, and other appropriate platforms
  • Update and send weekly information to clients or productions teams, as needed, including:
    • Spot logs
    • Rotation charts
    • Spot transcriptions
Digital Campaigns & Reporting
  • Complete traffic sheets for digital campaigns
  • Day-t0-day management of digital short flights to make sure goals are being met
  • Compile monthly internal and client-facing digital reports in Excel for all current clients
  • Review digital media plans for sales proposals
  • Provide internal digital impression reporting to allow invoicing and revenue distribution
  • Work with PBS to fully develop digital dashboards for Google Ad Manager digital reporting
Attend and participate in a series of production meetings when applicable
  • Cross-check sponsor visibility on any upcoming materials
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for deeper sponsor engagement
Coordinate client communication and assets for event visibility
SKILL SET
  • Work with production teams to develop deadlines, communicate dates and specs to clients, and follow up to make sure timelines are met
  • 1-3 years of experience in a support role in related fields (marketing, media, agency work, client relationships, business development), a corporate setting, and a client-focused environment.
  • Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, pay high attention to detail, and be well-organized time managers of multiple projects with various, often last-minute deadlines.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, exercise good judgment under pressure, and exhibit poise and professionalism when communicating with executives.
  • Proficient with Macintosh systems and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint applications. Familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop is a plus.
  • Accomplished navigator of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Familiarity with media metrics, analysis, and other systems a plus (i.e., Nielsen, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data collection tools, such as Data Studio and Google ad-serving software (Google Ad Manager)
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
