We are a software development company located in West Salem. We are seeking an Entry Level Software Support Specialist. GCS Software supports clients throughout Wisconsin and Kentucky. GCS Software is looking for a personable and passionate SSS that is self-motivated, a solid team player, and is committed to satisfying clients with our products and services.
The candidate will participate in every stage of the software support and will likely be supporting multiple clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Work directly with clients to help analyze and resolve software support issues
Create and update ticketing system as you resolve customer issues
Obtain a deep understanding of products and services offered by GCS
Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience, turning insights language that sets our users up for success
Ability to work with a team of support specialists of all experience levels
Ability to take after hour calls
Facilitate end-user training and/or client demonstrations.
Industry experience as software support specialist
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities
Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
