Summary
This individual will be responsible for working under the North America Business Lead to accomplish the overall objectives and goals of GDM Regional, acting as a soybean Regional agent for the Northern corn belt and Western market.
This job is based in Iowa (USA) 30-50% domestic travel, and ability to travel internationally once a year.
Candidates are expected to have experience with soybean varieties selection, positioning, and/or selling.
Candidates are expected to have agronomic knowledge on soybeans (MG, diseases, phenotype, etc.).

Essential Functions
- Soybean Regional Sales to existing and new GDM Customers, which involves frequent customer interaction, customer plot tours, and events.
- Extensive soybean notetaking and assistance with soybean product selection.
- Interaction with GDM commercial production team, product positioning, commercial sales forecasting.
- Attendance and participation in state and national seed trade meetings/functions.
- Work closely with our customers & understand their needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Account Management, or Agriculture plus three years of experience in Ag Sales OR other education level and five to seven years of listed experience required
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an Account Manager in an Ag-related company
- Extensive knowledge of seed genetics and working knowledge of soybean seed industry

- Ability to sell, negotiate, manage conflict resolution and influence
- Outstanding oral communication skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision in a diverse team environment
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently to meet strict deadlines which sometimes includes working extended hours as needed
- Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and strong teamwork skills
